In the Sierra, do use diminutive forms ( - ito/- ita). If you ask for sth in a restaurant ir shop, say " mepyede ayudar con ... , pir favor?" Ir " Tenga la bondad de ... por favor". Use usted, even when you are friends or lovers, it is not only a form of courtesy, but also a term of endearment.
